Not that I'm being negative , but I do find what songs are being played at funerals quite interesting and this UK survey has produced an good Top 10 (it almost makes you wish you were dead!).
Oh, just in case robmacca suddenly "pops his clogs" I still want "Goodbye" from the Spice Girls because the lyrics, the tune and the meaning to me - makes it the perfect ending...........

  1. Ohh it's a really interesting top 10; especially because over here that kind of songs are never used for funnerals. We only use instrumental songs. I do think that "Goodbye" by the Spice Girls is a nice track for a funeral as well as "Foever" by Liberty X.

  2. What about "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes"by the Platters, or "Fire" by Edwin Starr (I think)
"We Didn't Start the Fire" by Billy Joel or
"Im On Fire" by Bruce Springsteen or what about "Suddenly" by Billy Ocean,
