Robbie Williams Chart Battle Update

Robbie Williams new single 'Bodies' looks set to debut in the UK singles chart on Sunday at number two as former X Factor winner Alexandra Burke has been outselling Robbie with her single 'Bad Boys'. Sales of both tracks were lifted by performances on Saturday's X Factor, as seen by 13 million viewers.

The on screen battle between Robbie Williams and Alexandra Burke was won by the former X Factor winner and she looks set to win the UK Charts battle as she outsells Robbie by 2 to 1. On Monday Robbie Williams sold an impressive 40,000 copies of his comeback single and is almost guaranteed the #2 slot, which is a vast improvement on his last single 'She's Madonna' - which charted at number 16.

The only way Robbie Williams will fail to reach number two on Sunday will be if downloads of Boyzone singles surge following the sudden death of Stephen Gately. 'Bodies' will be Robbie Williams highest charting single since 'Tripping' in 2005.

VIDEO: Pint Shot Riot - Come Back To Me

Pint Shot Riot prove that Coventry has talent with their latest video for 'Come Back To Me', which was released on Monday 5 October and was filmed in The Warehouse Club Coventry.

Frontman Rocket spoke to The Sun saying, "We've played with some great bands like Glasvegas and The Enemy but we've got two great singles ready to go and now it's our turn to headline.
"The music biz is changing and if people get to hear independent acts through new channels like video games then that's cool."

VIDEO: Tinchy Stryder - You're Not Alone

Tinchy Stryder is back with another blinder from his 'Catch 22' album, this time he samples the Olive track 'You're Not Alone'. The single got the band to number one back in May 1997 and Tinchy would love it if the track goes to number one when it is released on November 2.

Fans felt the 22 year-old performer should have won a MOBO Award this week after being snubbed at the Award ceremony for the third year in a row. Tinchy hit back by saying, “So I didn’t win a MOBO after havin’ da highest-selling urban single of the year and sellin’ over 1million singles this year. Cool. F the MOBOs.”

Watch the video below of Tinchy Stryder performing 'You're Not Alone':
