Royal Mail Name Adam Crozier Replacement

Royal Mail have announced a suitable replacement for outgoing boss Adam Crozier, who is to leave his £1m job for an equally rewarding job at ITV. The Government have decided to replace Crozier with a plank of wood, as it is more likely to be of more use for the postal operator.

His replacement at Royal Mail was described as, "practical and useful" by a Government insider earlier today. Cost savings will help Royal Mail remain in profit, as the cost of varnish is far cheaper than Adam Crozier's salary. Archie Norman and Adam Crozier have been appointed to head up the destruction of ITV.

Susan Boyle Finds Intruder In Her Home

Police were called to the home of Susan Boyle just before 10pm last night after she arrived home from a visit to London to find an intruder inside. The multi-million selling singer was shocked and shaken as the man escaped past her when she arrived home. SuBo had been recording her part in the charity Haiti single in London and a friend had dropped her off at her council house in Scotland.

Although Susan Boyle has made millions due to her sudden success, the Britain's Got Talent star has tried to remain in her humble council home. The attempted burglary may now mean it is time for Susan to find a more suitable, protected home. Police took a 16 year-old youth into questioning in connection with the incident, but released him sometime later.

Funny, disrespectful, edgy, but also poignant and heartfelt, these stories try to go to the heart of what it means to be young today."

The Skins new episodes will be aired at 10pm on Thursday nights on e4 and fans can win a place at the sold out screening by entering a competition on the official Skins website HERE . The brand new cast pictures are available to view HERE.

    What Next For Ricky Whittle?

Hollyoaks and Strictly Come Dancing star Ricky Whittle has been pictured on his own enjoying a well earned rest in Dubai by Kpix. The 28 year old is no stranger to taking his kit off, as seen in the Everyman charity pictures (HERE). Yet the Strictly Come Dancing runner-up was doing a solo after splitting up with Hollyoaks' star Carley Stenson, in November after a two year relationship.

Ricky Whittle said he would love to do more sports and may need a few job offers after quitting his role in Hollyoaks as Calvin Valentine and completing some impressive dancing on the BBC1 programme. Any ideas?

Sales Of Singles Rise While Album Sales Decline

The Christmas chart battle between Rage Against The Machine and X Factor winner Joe McElderry helped make it a record year for UK single sales with 4.22m singles sold in the last week of 2009, exceeding the previous record of 4.03m over Christmas 2008.

Downloads now account for almost 98% of the singles market. The BPI, which represents UK record labels, has said it expects total single sales in 2009 to exceed 150 million. In 2008 a record 115.1m singles were sold in the UK. Sales in 2009 increased by 32.7% to a record 152 million.

But it was not all good news as album sales showed a decline of around 12% year on year as last week's album sales were 3.16 million. Overall album sales were down 3.5% in 2009 as 128.9 million albums were sold in the UK. Good news for the music industry came in the form of downloads - they rose 56.1% to 16.1 million album downloads.

    PICTURES: Nicola Roberts Drunk

Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts has been pictured in the press today looking rather drunk, as these pictures show. But Nicola had a good reason - it was New Years Eve and the majority of the country had consumed a drink or twenty, so why shouldn't she? It's not the first time the press have captured Nicola Roberts enjoying a night out, as previously seen HERE.

Nicola Roberts is 24 and was out celebrating New Year’s Eve with boyfriend Charlie Fennell when Magic Moments took the pictures at Gilgamesh in Camden, London. Most girls her age would have been doing the same so it's wrong of the press to knock her for having a good time. Let's face it, Nicola and the rest of Girls Aloud have earned a good night out after working so hard in 2009.

Sarah Harding looked lush in a classic black dress as she enjoyed New Year celebrations in Camden and seems to be losing her image as the drunken one in Girls Aloud.
