Madonna Weekend

It's been a weird old week, as my Blog has reported - but I'm off to Cardiff (Wales) this weekend to see Madonna for the first time EVER!

I really hope my car makes it the 125 miles to the stadium, especially since I've still got to be up for work 03:20am Monday morning.

Precious Life

*Pictures available at: http://www.bobbyneeladams.com/angels.html

A new born child can give such hope,

A sudden death - who can cope?

A life of work comes to an end,

A sorry man - who will defend?

The path of life, a twisted route,

The innocent they seem to shoot.

The birthday girl so happy there,

The world, the wars - she does not care.

We do not know how long we'll last,

We can not even change the past,

We are surrounded in this world of strife,

We must make the most of our precious life!

This poem was written by robmacca tonight, it was inspired by the sudden death of my housemates step sister who died yesterday suddenly while on holiday in Spain - a day before her 15th birthday. Last week an old work mate of mine was found dead in the canal as he was about to start his retired life, it was taken from him in suspicious circumstances.

All of these tragic events remind me how precious life is and how in the blink of an eye - our life could end or be changed forever. Make everyday count, and live it as though it could be your last - enjoy the moment but make it count.

10 Years of Spice Girls

VICTORIA ADAMS (POSH)
Then:
Posh was the "quiet" Spice Girl – until she married soccer star David Beckham in 1999. At their wedding, guests danced to Spice Girls hits played by an 18-piece orchestra.

Now: Mom to sons Brooklyn, 7, Romeo, 3, and Cruz, 1, Victoria Beckham, 32, is one of Britain's most-talked-about fashion icons. She has her own line of jeans with Rock & Republic, and in March revealed in Glamour that she wears children's clothing.

MELANIE CHISHOLM (SPORTY)
Then:
Known for her onstage backflips and powerful pipes, Mel C. was the first Spice Girl to release a solo album, 1999's double-platinum Northern Star.

Now: Chisholm, 32, started her own record label, Red Girl Records (named after her tendency to blush), in 2004. The next year she debuted an edgier sound (and look) with her album Beautiful Intentions, which was a smash in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. She's currently working on her fourth disc.

MELANIE BROWN (SCARY)
Then: The first Spice Girl to marry and become a mom, Brown gave birth to daughter Phoenix Chi (with then-husband Jimmy Gulzar) in February 1999. She and Gulzar split acrimoniously a year later.

Now: After a stint in Rent on Broadway, Brown, 31, moved to Los Angeles two years ago and released the album L.A. State of Mind. British tabloids have recently linked her to comedian Eddie Murphy.

GERI HALLIWELL (GINGER)
Then:
The flame-haired Halliwell shocked the world when she announced she was quitting the band on the eve of the Spice Girls' 1998 North American tour.

Now: She's a mom! Halliwell, 33, welcomed Bluebell Madonna in May. (Dad is screenwriter Sacha Gervasi.) "As she came out of my tummy, Bluebell had both arms flung wide in the air as if announcing to the world, 'Hi! I'm here!' " Halliwell told Hello!

EMMA BUNTON (BABY)
Then:
The youngest Spice, Bunton really was babied by her bandmates. "She was still living at home," Melanie "Sporty" Chisholm told PEOPLE last year. "We always felt that extra protection for her."

Now: Bunton, 30, released her first U.S. solo album, Free Me, last year and is working on a second. She also volunteers with the U.K.'s Prince's Trust, and last month caught up with Halliwell at a party for the group at Buckingham Palace.

SHE MOVES IN HER OWN WAY (Kooks)

Video Code provided by VideoCodeZone.Com

The Kooks are proving to be the best British Band as they follow up their smash hit "Naive" single with this feel good, summer vibe "She Moves In Her Own Way".

By the end of the video you should be clapping, swinging from side to side and thanking God for life itself!

Country Walk

The British summer is something special, so we Brits have to make the most of the good weather and get outside into the countryside.
Alex came to visit for the weekend and we ventured out for a nice 13 mile round walk from Leamington Spa to "The Waterman" Pub at Hatton. Along the way along the British Waterways canal we saw horses, sheep, ducks, ducklings, squirrels, rabbits and the lush English countryside. All of which looked beautiful on a late sunny Sunday afternoon.

The pictures from my mobile phone say it all......................................

Topless Wig Heads!

Summer continues to bring on madness in the world of "robmacca" as this picture shows.

The topic from the other day encouraging Britain to go topless seems to be working at home at least as Andy and I had a laugh - taking off our tops but putting on some random wigs.

So come on Britain - lets all get topless for the summer....................

Coventry News Update

Peugeot Boycott as plant workers lose jobs:

*The Unions continue in the fight to keep Ryton open in a £1m campaign aimed at boycotting Peugeot and Citroen cars as 2,300 workers are to be sacked in Coventry and the factory closed down as work moves to Slovakia and France.
Sadly the Advertising watchdog refused to let the Union ask people to boycott Peugeot/Citroen cars but I'm sure many people will make an ethical choice and buy a car built in Britain rather than let the car company exploit those in Slovakia, where the wages will be as little as £75 per week.

Britain's First Wank-a-thon

Britain is set to get it's first mass public masturbation thanks to Channel 4 television. They are going to make a documentary about Britain's first "Masturbate-a-thon" or in crude terms - "Wank Week"

Hundreds are expected to turn up in a hall in central London on August 5 to pleasure themselves in aid of charity.
Mass masturbation events have been run in America for the past five years to raise money for safe sex charity groups. Channel 4 hope to air the programme later this year.

The event will encourage Londoners - both male and female - to sign up sponsors and head to Clerkenwell in order to masturbate in front of hundreds of others.

"This year it's time to bring the event across the pond to see if the great
British public can embrace mass public masturbation. It's time to find out if the only things allowed to be stiff in Britain are upper lips."

Prizes will be on offer for those who clock up the most orgasms and those who can masturbate the longest - the current record, according to the organisers, is a chafing eight-and-a-half hours.

To qualify for the record, the organisers say "at least 55 minutes of every hour shall be spent self-pleasuring by manual or sex toy stimulation" with participants getting just five minutes to "replenish and renew".

Who'd of thought Britain could be full of so many wankers?

British Heatwave

This week Britain has been basking in glorious sunshine once again, and its set to reach it's peak on Wednesday, with possible record temperatures. Forecasters are predicting it could rise to over 100F/39C.
There are dangers of course as over 2,000 Brits died back in 2003 during the hot weather. But who cares about the dangers when it gets the nation topless and out in the sun?

Keep kids, old people and animals indoors and let the nations lads and lasses get their kit of for the sun!
I've been out in the park today doing my bit for Topless Britain as it's been my day off - so now it's your turn dear readers to get your kit off and enjoy the sun.................

*notice I included a topless woman in this Blog post, just to keep it all fair and balanced!!

Spice Girls Reunion?

The continuing speculation about a Spice Girls reunion after hitting the headlines 10years ago, continues throughout the media world with constant stories of a reunion and a Greatest Hits CD. Latest rumours have been about a charity record to mark the anniversary.

Well today two of the Spice Girls will be at the same venue as the following story reveals:

The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall were today hosting a
star-studded garden party for the Prince's Trust at Buckingham Palace.

More than 100 celebrity ambassadors for the youth charity and more than
3,000 volunteers will mingle in the grounds of the Queen's home.

Among those due to attend are Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster, Sharon
Osbourne, Alan Titchmarsh, singers Will Young and Lemar, and former
Spice Girls Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton.
The event celebrates the
30th anniversary of the organisation, which was set up by Charles in 1976 with
his Navy pension.

Youth charity the Prince's Trust helps change young lives in the UK by
giving practical and financial support and developing skills such as confidence
and motivation.
It works with 14 to 30-year-olds who have struggled at
school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with
the law.

The Prince of Wales set up The Prince's Trust because he wanted to help
young people in the UK. In 30 years, the charity has helped more than half a
million young people and continues to support 100 more every day.

Cyprus Holiday - Part 3

Find out what really went on in Ayia Napa in the next part of robmacca's holiday photo exclusive.............

The selection of pictures above show what really went on in Ayia Napa- it wasn't all sunshine and meals out. The hotel opposite ours was an 18-30 hotel, so the 6 balconies became a multi-screen Big Brother for us. The lads provided us with hours of entertainment - whether it was getting locked out, getting their cock out, having a fight, having sex or just getting their kit off - it all happened 24/7 and I felt like a viewer of Big Brother watching it all unfold.
It would have been easy to have mad nights out every single night and get home into the early hours of the morning, but we were more reserved this year cos of the World Cup and had just a few crazy nights out at the square. I love Ayia Napa cos it's so full of life and YES the views were stunning!!
In the final part you will get to see just what I did all day long when I was on my own........................

Sprite Adverts

Just been watching the Sprite drink advert on TV and I've gotta say - I love the Sprite goblin - he's one funky creature. The pictures above are from a previous TV campaign set at a music festival. Satisfy your thirst and get the right Goblin!!
