Robin Red Breast

Every winter Robin Red Breasts can be seen across the United Kingdom, but you have to look hard as these beautiful birds fly away before we humans can get too close. But I have seen quite a few recently on my post rounds and I have to say - they truly are marvelous creations!

  1. Don't see those in the NE in the USA. However, that orange on the breast reminds me of the cardinal that is so visible during these days of spring. In fact I have a pair of those in my backyard busy making their nest.

  2. Yes, agreed. I've got a family of them in my garden. I was digging to plant some spring flowers and the whole family showed up. They're cracker!
