Former Hear'Say singer Kym Marsh and ex-Blue star Antony Costa are bidding to become this year's UK Eurovision entry.
The former chart stars - once members of the nation's biggest-selling bands - are among six acts going for glory.
Each will perform their song on TV and the public will decide who will represent the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest in Athens.
Marsh's song is a ballad called Whisper My Name.
Costa will sing a Motown-style tune called Beautiful Thing.
The other acts are singer-songwriter Goran Kay, male vocal harmony group Four Story, girl duo City Chix, and Daz Sampson, who was a founder of dance act Uniting Nations and had a top 20 hit in 2004 with Out Of Time.
Sir Terry Wogan and Natasha Kaplinsky will host the Making Your Mind Up show on BBC1 on March 4, when the performers will be put to the vote.
The Eurovision Song Contest takes place on May 20.
