The Enemy Auction Guitar For Charity

The Enemy in the "early days" with the white guitar.

Tom Clarke from Coventry band The Enemy, has donated his early fender telecaster guitar for auction to help raise money for "Ripple Africa", .

The guitar that is now on EBAY, is the very one used by Tom Clarke for the videos "Away From Here" and "It's Not OK" and featured at the very early gigs. It is the guitar that has been on tour with The Enemy the most, so is a very important one - it was the same one used at the Coventry Colosseum gig with Specials singer Neville Staples.

Ripple Africa is a charity that seeks to improve the standard of education and health care, to preserve and sustainably develop the environment, and to create opportunities for the local community around Mwaya on the northern lake shore of Lake Malawi. Unlike many other charities Ripple Africa aim to give a hand up not a hand out by employing locals rather than spending donations on costly administration overseas.

Bidding ends April 10th with ALL money raised will go directly to Ripple Africa. The guitar has been signed by Tom, Liam and Andy so hop over to EBAY now and place your bid for this once in a lifetime piece of history memorabilia, doing so you will also be raising money for a well-deserving cause.
