Is Cristiano Ronaldo really worth £80m? Just days after spending a reported £56m for Kaka, the Spanish club Real Madrid have bought the Manchester United player for a record-breaking fee.In times of economic hardship and daily reports of workers around the globe taking pay cuts, it seems that money is no object to Real Madrid. Revenues for the club increased 4% to £290 last year but spending such sums of money doesn't appear to be a problem for the team that wants to be the world's #1.
