Girls Aloud 'Untouchable' Set To Flop?

Girls Aloud look set to miss the Top 10 singles chart for the first time ever, according to midweek chart predictions. The new single 'Untouchable' becomes Girls Aloud twenty first UK single as they embark on their 'Out of Control' UK tour, denying reports about splitting up.

The single currently sits just outside the Top 10 in the latest midweek chart but still has a chance of making the Top 10 by Sunday if the public get behind Girls Aloud. Polydor need not worry if 'Untouchable' fails to make the Top 10, as the album 'Out of Control' topped the charts back in November.

  1. Its a shame if the single ends their run of top ten hits, but honestly whoever produced that single edit with the horrible vocal effects needs locking up, the album version is much better.

  2. The Bimbo Jones remix is much better than the drivel we have to hear day in day out on radio.

  3. I think if they had used the album version the song would have done better. The mix they released as the single version is stupid and choppy, computerizing the vocals was a terrible idea. Why bother have the fans choose the single if the dumb record label is just going to go ahead and do a terrible mix job? We, the fans picked Untouchable as the single because we felt it was a great, if not the best song off of 'Out of Control', and we meant the original version, if they were just gonna mix it they should have held that in the options when voting as 'Untouchable (remix)', perhaps then no one would have been tortured and let down with a bad remix.
