Prince Harry Splits From Girlfriend
Prince Harry has split from long term girlfriend Chelsy Davy, according to reports and Sunday newspapers we can reveal. The five year relationship is said to have ended "amicably" after much discussion between the pair.
Both Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy had tried to keep their relationship out of the public eye and spoke to the press as little as possible about their feelings for each other. Chelsy (23) is studying law at Leeds University while Prince Harry (24) has recently been engaged in military activity.
It is believed Miss Davy found his lifestyle and time spent apart too much, although they had just had a private holiday in Mauritius. Newspapers said the relationship had "run it's course".

Now That's What I Call Music 1 Re-Released on CD
Do you remember when Now That's What I Call Music Vol 1 came out? I was a spotty school kid who had just sold his music collection to raise money to try and save my school from closure, so the teachers bought me NOW 1 as a thank you.
Twenty five years later the NOW collection is still going and the original has been re-released on CD. The original came out on 10th December 1983 and sold 900,000 copies with the series selling over 75m in the UK and Ireland.
I think I'll be ordering mine from HMV, just to have a blast from the past and enjoy the cheesy 80's hits all over again............. (alas my school closed a few years after I left!)

iTunes To Slash Download Prices
Apple have announced that the price of some iTunes tracks could be as cheap as 59p in a new pricing structure designed to make the download market more competitive in 2009. Amazon has already entered into a pricing war with the music giant by offering albums at £3 and it looks like 2009 could be a good year for customers as prices drop.
The new prices for downloading tracks on iTunes will be 99p, 79p and 59p - the price will depend on how much record companies charge them. Apple is also making millions of tracks free from copyright protection, meaning users can transfer their music onto different appliances rather than just an iPod.

New Doctor Who Revealed
The eleventh Dr Who has been revealed to be Matt Smith, a virtual unknown actor compared to others who were in the running to take on the role as the Time Lord in the popular BBC drama.
Matt will replace David Tennant in 2010 to become the new Dr Who and said, "I'm flabbergasted. I haven't slept really! [Doctor Who] is an iconic part of our culture, and now I'm taking that on. It's nerve wracking. Exciting. Exciting."
"It's an iconic part of our culture, my grandad knows about it, my dad knows about it, it's been going since 1963 it has the iconic status of Robin Hood or Sherlock Holmes."
Matt Smith may not be known by the masses but the Dr Who team are confident he will make a good Dr Who. Smith's TV debut was in the 2006 adaptation of Philip Pullman's The Ruby in the Smoke, which starred former Doctor Who companion Billie Piper as Sally Lockhart.
He has also acted opposite Piper in the follow-up, The Shadow in the North, and in ITV2's Secret Diary of a Call Girl.
In 2007, he had a leading role in BBC Two's political drama Party Animals, in which he played a parliamentary researcher.
Dr Who Time Line:
1. William Hartnell (1963-1966)
2. Patrick Troughton (1966-1969)
3. Jon Pertwee (1970-1974)
4. Tom Baker (1974-1981)
5. Peter Davison (1982-1984)
