Coventry City Football Club has been in the local press a lot over the past few weeks as the club looks close to going into administration as a deal to take over the club fell through and debts of £28m crippled the running of the Championship club.Last night the Coventry Telegraph reported that British investors are poised to take over the running of the club and thus avoiding a 10 point deduction for going into administration. Fans across the city have been donating to a special fund set up to support the club - www.skybluetrust.co.uk/ . CCFC have been around for 124 years and is an important part of our city, lets hope a deal can be struck this week and the players can get paid.
