After a positive early start for England with Gamarra's own goal in the third minute of play, the match seemed to just sail along with the odd booking or two as ref Marco Rodriguez applied the rules to both sides. England may have had most of the ball possession but squandered any real chances, even though Paraguay keeper Justo Villar went off injured five minutes into play.
In summary: If you missed the first 5 minutes of the game, you missed the best bit!
