Amy Winehouse made her UK stage comeback with The Specials at V Festival with an appearance that NME.COM described as the 'most energetic performance of the day'.

Amy Winehouse Attacks Photographers

Amy Winehouse lashes out at photographers

Amy Winehouse finally had enough and lashed back at photographers, as the picture above clearly shows. The paparazzi had been camped outside Amy's Camden apartment all day and tried to follow her every move - which turned out to be a bad idea as she was not in a good mood. The singer had rushed to London's Pentonville Prison but had turned up too late for her appointment to see her husband Blake. The press continued taking pictures as Amy cried in the taxi cab on the way home and even when she ordered a take away from a local Kabab shop.

It all finally got too much for her as photographers camped outside her apartment blocked her entry into the flat. Winehouse lashed out in frustration after a traumatic day, she appears to have grabbed a camera and may have punched a member of the paparazzi as she tried to get back indoors away from the media glare.

Will all the media attention drive Amy Winehouse away from the UK? Only time will tell.

Winehouse To Enter Rapid Rehab In Israel

Amy Winehouse
Troubled singer Amy Winehouse could be flying out to Israel in a bid to get cleaned up for Glastonbury next month. Reports from the Jewish Chronicle claim the Winehouse management team got in contact with specialist Andre Waismann asking for his help.

The Barzilai Medical Centre would care for Winehouse, where she will receive 36 hours of treatment and the promise of success would ensure Amy Winehouse is able to make her Glastonbury appearance just before Jay-Z, as reported earlier this week here on 'robmacca's entertainment news'.

The 24 year old Rehab hit maker will undergo “very short, intensive and effective treatment” costing $12,800 (£6,400). Winehouse has also said she would love it if jailed husband Blake, could come to Glastonbury with her.

Amy has been under the public spotlight all week following the 'Winemouse' videos, as revealed here last weekend but is determined to bounce back at Glastonbury. Yesterday Amy Winehouse won an Ivor Novello Award but arrived so late her father had to collect it.

Amy Winehouse Attacks Photographer - The Video

Amy Winehouse lashes out *pic

Amy Winehouse went on the rampage by attacking photographers outside her Camden apartment as seen in the video below:

VIDEO: Amy Winehouse attacking reporters

Husband Blake Fielder-Civil was released from jail yesterday after spending a much documented year behind bars and the press were on a picture frenzy on his return home to London. No wonder Amy struck out at photographers - not even being allowed to leave her apartment without being harassed, on a very emotional day for her and Blake.

According to The Sun, Amy asked the press "who wants some?" as she lunged towards them, as well as flashing her chest and crashing out in the back of a taxi.

Amy Winehouse In Court - But Looking Fab!

Amy Winehouse arrived in court today looking like she is back on top form, as the pictures above and below show. The controversial singer was appearing at City of Westminster Magistrates' Court for some incident or other where she may or may not have hit somebody in the eye.

Who cares? Amy Winehouse is looking wonderful and healthy, that is the best news we've had about Amy in months. It seems the time away from London has done her the world of good. Now let's hope she can be left alone - but judging by the BBC video below, Winehouse doesn't stand much chance. The press and public love to hound her.....................

Best Selling Album / Best Selling Single 2007

Best Selling UK Albums 2007:

Amy Winehouse "Back To Black" - UK #1 Album of 2007.

1 Amy Winehouse Back To Black
2 Leona Lewis Spirit
3 Mika Life In Cartoon Motion
4 Take That Beautiful World
5 Westlife Back Home
6 Eagles Long Road Out Of Eden
7 Kaiser Chiefs Yours Truly Angry Mob
8 Arctic Monkeys Favourite Worst Nightmare
9 Timbaland Shock Value
10 Rihanna Good Girl Gone Bad

Girl power returned in 2007 - but not just the Spice Girls kind as the females dominated the top two positions in the Best Selling Albums of 2007, but boy bands were close behind as Take That (#4) rounded off another fantastic year and Westlife proved that after 9 years they can still sell massive amounts of albums. British bands like the Kaiser Chiefs (#7) and Arctic Monkeys (#8) kept music lovers happy with real music.

Other acts selling well during 2007 included the much anticipated second album by James Blunt, which after 15 weeks in the charts became the 13th best selling album of the year. New comer Mark Ronson spent 37 weeks inside the charts, earning him a 12th position in the chart. Reforming is nearly always a money spinner as Led Zeppelin found out with "Mothership", #17 after being released just 6 weeks before the end of the year.

Whitney Houston "The Ultimate Collection" (#21) might now have enough royalties to finally stay out of rehab for a while. Take That "Never Forget - The Ultimate Collection" (#35) was the longest running album in the end of year chart with 111 weeks, closely followed by the rehab queen Amy Winehouse "Frank" (#37) on 108 weeks.

Best Selling UK Singles 2007:

Leona Lewis "Bleeding Love" - UK #1 Single of 2007.

1 Leona Lewis Bleeding Love
2 Rihanna ft Jay-Z Umbrella
3 Mika Grace Kelly
4 Leon Jackson When You Believe
5 Take That Rule The World
6 Sugababes About You Now
7 Timbaland ft Keri Hilson The Way I Are
8 Proclaimers / B Potter / A Pipkin (I'm Gonna Be) 500 Miles
9 Mark Ronson ft Amy Winehouse Valerie
10 Kaiser Chiefs Ruby

Reality TV winner Leona Lewis proved wise to wait almost a year to release her follow up single "Bleeding Love" as it became the UK's #1 single for 2007, staying at #1 for most of it's 10 week history. Rihanna had to settle for second with her summer smash hit "Umbrella" - even if you hated it, you were singing it by the end of the wash out season! But it seems that collaborations were the order of the day as Mark Ronson/Amy Winehouse (#9), Proclaimers/B Potter/A Pipkin (#8), Timberland/ Keri Hilson (#7) all found out scoring massive hits during the year.

Leon Jackson, the X factor winner, had the Christmas #1 and proved once again the buying public still have a thirst for reality TV. His single "When You Believe" became the 4th best seller after just two weeks. Thankfully old favourites Take That and the Sugababes stopped the singles chart from slipping into a "reality collaboration" sham.

Surprisingly one of the most played songs of 2007, Kate Nash "Foundations" only made it to #17, even though it was one of those songs that remained in the charts for half of the year. Snow Patrol were the longest runners in the chart with "Chasing Cars" having spent a staggering 74 weeks in total to finish #34.

Newcomer Plain White T's can be proud of their hit "Hey There Delilah", it was the UK's 14th favourite single of 2007.

Amy Winehouse and Pete Doherty Winemouse Videos

    Amy Winehouse pictures:
    HERE

Amy Winehouse and the "Winemouse" video

This must be the most bizarre video of 2008, yet somehow compelling viewing as singer's Amy Winehouse and Pete Doherty filmed together with tiny mice. The press are having a field day mentioning drugs, dirty hands and animal cruelty.

Judge for yourself by watching the two videos below, the first one has been "banned" by YouTube (I think someone was pissed off because it was getting so many hits!):

Amy Winehouse: Rock in Rio - Portugal

Winehouse on stage at 'Rock in Rio', Portugal

Amy Winehouse made an entertaining return to the stage as she turned up late and kept 90,000 Portuguese fans waiting. Yet they proved forgiving and gave the much publicised singer a warm welcome as she performed an interesting live set at Portugal's 'Rock in Rio' in Lisbon.

No performance ever goes by without something news worthy happening for Amy Winehouse and the worlds media had plenty to choose from - the hair grip declaring her love for Blake, falling over on stage, dropping the microphone and apologising for her croaky voice were just a few of the incidents to capture the press offices around the globe.

Amy Winehouse was still able to pull it off as she sailed through her hits and went on to perform two songs by Coventry SKA band, The Specials (A Message To You Rudy and Wonderin' Now).

    Glastonbury 2008: Saturday Review

    Amy Winehouse @ Glastonbury

Saturday - Shakin' Stevens / A Human / The Blessing / Massukos / Eric Bibb / Joan Armatrading/ Will Young / The Grid / Amy Winehouse / Massive Attack

    Glastonbury Pics: HERE

Today the sun was out and spirits were high for the second day at Glastonbury, the mud was drying but the hangover was kicking in as the tent warmed up to the morning sun. What better wake up call can you have than the classic Shakin' Stevens? I couldn't resist going to have a gander and watch him perform 'Green Door' and 'Marie' - Not bad for the first performer of the day.

I went to explore the Glastonbury site a bit more (apparently it's the size of Bath) and ended up in the Dance Village watching a band called A Human, who put on the best performance I was to see this year at Glastonbury. Each of the six band members put on a performance to be proud of, the lead singer was so energetic throughout, at one point leaping from the stage and dancing with the crowds. Then taking his shirt off, waving it in the air while rolling on the floor outside the tent - pure genius! This was the band that made a lasting favourable impression on me and hope they do well, especially since the lead singer had just quit work to become a full time musician.
    Muddy dancers @ Glastonbury

The afternoon was spent relaxing on the ground at Jazz World listening to the delightful sounds of The Blessing, adding an air of spirituality. Massukos treated the crowds to the vibe of Mozambique followed by Eric Bibb and the legendary Joan Armatrading, who won over the audience like she did back in the 70's.

It was nice and mellow just chilling out to the sounds from the Jazz World stage then it was time to move on and capture more music in the form of Will Young in the Avalon Tent. He proved to be a popular attraction with many more people outside trying to listen in on his gentle performance. I gave up trying to listen so we moved to Dance West for some busting moves with The Grid - not even a drug in sight as we were taken back to the early 90's "rave" tunes.
Crowds have fun at Amy Winehouse performance

Amy Winehouse was another highlight for Glastonbury, while she may be out of it during songs, I loved her voice and her tribute to Coventry band The Specials was touching. 'A Message To You Rudy' and 'You're Wondering Now' added credibility to her much talked about appearance.
The night was concluded with Massive Attack, while not my cup of tea, the stage lighting was amazing and the crowds loved the variety of tunes presented.

Amy Winehouse: Blake Jail Sentence Announced

Amy Winehouse and Blake share kiss
Amy Winehouse was not in court today as the judge told her husband Blake Fielder-Civil, that he was to be sentenced to 27 months in jail for for attacking a pub landlord and perverting the course of justice.
Blake also admitted at Snaresbrook Crown Court, London trying to make Mr King withdraw his complaint using a £200,000 bribe. Fielder-Civil has already spent nine months in jail on remand.
In his defence, the court heard how Blake was determined to rebuild his life with his wife after a history of self-harm and suicide attempts. Amy Winehouse has vowed to stand by her man and wait for him while he serves his remaining time.

Earlier in June she was admitted to hospital after collapsing at home. It was later discovered Amy Winehouse had traces of the lung disease emphysema.

Klaxons Beat Winehouse To Scope Mercury Award

The Klaxons have pipped Amy Winehouse in the battle for the Mercury Music Award Prize. The London band's debut album Myths of the Near Future beat off stiff competition from Amy Winehouse, Jamie T and last year's winners the Arctic Monkeys to take home the prestigious award. The four-piece collected a cheque for £20,000 from Jools Holland during a ceremony at London's Grosvenor House Hotel, reports DigitalSpy.

Amy Winehouse made her first public appearance since checking into rehab. Her album "Back To Black" still continues to dominate the charts, even after her father-in-law called for a boycott.

    Amy Winehouse Rescues Glastonbury Festival

Amy Winehouse has been confirmed for next month's Glastonbury Festival and will be taking the Pyramid Stage just prior to Jay-Z on Saturday 28th June.

Festival organiser Emily Eavis said she was confident that Winehouse could be relied on. "I have total faith," she said. "I think she'll come and deliver."

Glastonbury chiefs have come under fire this year for selecting Jay-Z as the headline act, but Amy Winehouse could help turn fortunes around for the festival.

    Amy Winehouse Rushed To Hospital

Amy Winehouse was taken to hospital after fainting this afternoon at home. The singer was about to sign autographs for some Canadian fans that had been waiting outside her London home when she fainted.

Amy was caught by her manager's assistant and then taken to London Clinic in Marylebone, accompanied by her father. She is expected to stay in for over night observations and tests. Amy Winehouse is still expected to turn up for Glastonbury Festival and for Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday at Hyde Park, London on 27th June, but concerns over her health remain.

    Amy Winehouse: The Transvestite Look

Amy Winehouse goes blond (pic: NME/WENN)

Amy Winehouse is starting to look more and more like a washed up transvestite with every new picture that makes it into the media. The new blond look does not do Amy any favours and I fear that in a few months time we'll be seeing her perform at Blackpool Pleasure Beach under the name of "Miss Rehab".

On a sad note, it has been confirmed that Lily Allen has suffered a miscarriage. Previously on this blog we reported Lily Allen was expecting her first child with Chemical Romance's Ed Simons.

Finally we get to finish on a good note - The Enemy will be performing dates in Germany at the end of the month after having to cancel the tour when Tom Clarke took ill. The new dates are:

    27-Jan @ 591 - Munich
    28-Jan @ Magnet - Berlin
    30-Jan @ Gebaude 9 -Cologne
    31-Jan @ Knust - Hamburg
    01-Feb @ Kammgam - Kaiserslauten
    02-Feb @ Botanique - Brussels

    Amy Winehouse To Divorce

Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil will divorce today as their case goes through the High Court in London. The divorce may explain why Amy was in tears a few days ago when she returned to her native London home. The couple have not seen each other for several months as Winehouse has spent all of this year in St Lucia working on her third album.
The controversial singer has been reported as partying in St Lucia instead of working on her album, something that caused her record label bosses fury. Yet the multi-millionaire Winehouse is looking in better shape since leaving London. She married Blake Fielder-Civil in 2007 but the marriage was put under pressure when he was jailed for assault last year. Adultery is likely to be the main reason for the divorce as Blake is having a child with a woman he met in rehab.

Amy Winehouse will be performing at Glastonbury and Nelson Mandela's 90th Birthday bash, even though she is still in hospital allegedly suffering from the lung condition emphysema. The troubled singer has not been seen in public since being rushed to hospital last Monday.
According to press reports Winehouse is desperate not to let fans down and will be out of hospital by the weekend with medics on standby at both events just in case Amy collapses again.

Here is the video of Amy Winehouse performing a rap during her recording session with Zalon. It seems like Winehouse was just having a bit of fun as she made up some lyrics while in the studio at her north London home.
