Beckham Too "Posh"?

The Daily Star, among other world newspapers are reporting that maybe Victoria Beckham is just "too posh" for America. The mega famous ex- Spice Girl has been getting the backs up of certain Americans, yet at the same time becoming good friends with J-Lo.

Critics of Victoria reckon she is moody, much too uptight, snooty and a real "cold fish". She is giving the impression she doesn't like attention then loving every minute of it! But it won't stop the Beckhams domination in the media market as J-Lo wants to try out some fashion items in the DVB collection.

Geri Goes For A Walk!

It's usually all quiet in Geri Halliwell's world these days since she became a mother and quit the media circus. So it's no wonder the press are happy to snap a few pictures as she was walking baby Bluebell Madonna near her home on Sunday. Geri just so happened to be walking with Little Britain actor David Williams, which gave the press something to talk about.

So sparse is the news about Geri, we have to settle for a picture showing her little pink knickers! It really is time for a Spice Girls reunion or we'll be getting pictures of Geri doing her shopping (again!)

I Want Candy - The Movie

Got to see the movie "I Want Candy" tonight with my long time friend Ben, and I've got to say I was pleasently surprised that it is actually a good film to watch. I'm quite a fan of British films anyway, but even more so if the storyline is funny. "I Want Candy" certainly had me laughing throughout as arty film makers Joe and Baggy try and get Candy Fiveways (Carmen Electra) to star in their dream movie.

It really is the British version of American Pie, with some cracking sections including a pear, butter and wet wipes!

I won't spoil the storyline plot, but if you get a chance to watch it - then go and enjoy 90 minutes of British humour with a twist of American glamour.

Melanie Brown Has a Baby Girl

Melanie Brown gave birth to a a healthy baby girl just after midnight at a hospital in Santa Monica. The former Spice Girl and new daughter were said to be doing fine, a spokeswoman said:

"The baby is completely healthy with a good head of hair. Mother and baby are now resting.
No name has been decided on as yet, and she is purely known as Baby Brown."

The pregnancy has been over shadowed by the very public break up between Mel B and Eddie Murphy, as he denied being the father and dumped Melanie via Dutch TV. Friends of Scary Spice said she was fuming and will yet get her revenge, which could mean selling her story to the highest American bidder if she wanted.

The new baby will have plenty of company around the home with Mel's eight-year-old daughter, Phoenix Chi.

Melanie C's "Final" Album?

Is this the final album by Melanie C?

The long awaited 4th solo album has been released today, but may well be the last, as 33 year old former Spice Girl changes direction once again. The album "This Time" has a much more mellow feel about it compared to the harder rock sound of her last album "Beautiful Intentions" but will fail to capture a notable place in the UK Album chart this coming Sunday - just as Emma Bunton's "Life in Mono" found out in December 2006.

New "softer" sounding album.

While both Melanie and Emma's album's have an "easy listening" feel to them, they are a far cry from the poptastic sounds of the Spice Girls 10 years ago. It seems that while Melanie has matured and moved on with her sounds, sadly so have her fans and the buying public. "This Time" will indeed do better in Europe, as did her last album but robmacca is predicting this is the final album we are going to see from the solo Spice Girl era and Melanie C will almost certainly go down that road of motherhood thus focusing more on family life with her long term partner, Thomas Starr.

All credit to Melanie C for hanging in the music industry - she survived long beyond the Spice Girls and went on to sell over 3 million copies worldwide with her "Northern Star" album, Melanie has become one of the UK's most successful female artists by co-writing eleven #1's. The second solo album "Reason" went on to sell 500,000 copies worldwide but Virgin records were not happy and Melanie C parted company. This didn't stop her doing what she loved most - making music, and she set up her own record label "Red Girl Records" and in April 2005 released her third solo album "Beautiful Intentions". The album went on to out sell the "Reason" album and had considerable success in Europe - topping the charts in Portugal for 9 weeks and selling over 100,000 copies in Germany alone. Yet, all this time the UK press had turned it's back on each Spice Girl, so that one by one their solo efforts faded away.

Melanie's new look and new sound will indeed win over some new fans across Europe if the new track "The Moment You Believe" is anything to go by, yet this looks set to be the final album by the most talented Spice Girl. Who knows - the world may still get a "Greatest Hits" or an occasional musical appearance by Ms Chisholm. As the curtain opens for the launch of the album "This Time", it seems the door will finally close for one of Britain's most successful female artists....................................

Beckham's TV Show "Faces Axe"

The Metro newspaper reported today that Victoria and David Beckham's new fly on the wall TV programme could face the axe, even before a single episode gets aired on America's NBC network. It seems that none of the Beckham's celebrity friends want to appear on the show - which would lead to dull viewing as we are left with Victoria house hunting and looking for a school for the kids (yawn!).

According to the Metro, instead of being paid £10m as previously reported on robmacca - they couple would be paid just a humble £300,000. Quite a big difference, but at this rate the show will not even make it too our screens. Maybe the couple should allow camera's into the bedroom to spice things up!

The Teletubbies are 10 years old today and don't look a day older than when they first burst onto our screens with their now famous "Eh Oh" "Tubby custard" and "Tubby toast". The life size Teletubbies have been out and about promoting themselves in America, looking as gay as ever. No wonder the show is a hit in 120 countries. Long live the Teletubbies!

In a bid to improve relations with the Middle East, the British government will be sending Foreign Secretary Margaret Beckett to the region. She will be in a full veil because she is so hideous and spin doctors are hoping that if Mrs Beckett is covered up with a veil it will end the hostility Britons are experiencing in the region.

David Beckham revealed a brand new haircut to go along Victoria's new blonde look. Fans will be happy it is a normal hair style and easy to copy. The Beckham's were in London last night for the Sport Industry Awards 2007.






Royal Marine rifleman Nathan Thomas Summers, who is currently being held captive by those evil Iranian's, appeared on Iranian TV today looking very much like singer Justin Timberlake. You almost expected those terrible lying Iranian's to force the poor bugger to sing "Sexy Back"

118,000 American's bought the new album by Joss Stone this week, thus proving there are alot of people out there who really ought to be locked up! At least we Brits have moved on from Joss Stone (as seen at the Brit Awards, Feb 2007) - but no wonder the American's like her ....... she sounds like a fake yank. Say no more!
