Melanie C has given birth to a healthy baby girl, reports confirm that Sporty Spice delivered her first child in hospital at 4.10pm on Sunday.The new arrival weighted in at 8lb and 3oz and has been named Scarlet Starr, according to the official statement on Melanie C's website.
The former Spice Girl had decided to wait until the birth to find out the sex of the baby. She is the last Spice Girl to become a mother, after Emma Bunton gave birth to Beau in August 2007.
Mel C lives in Wales with her long term boyfriend Thomas Starr. Fans of Melanie C have been ecstatic with the news and have been leaving messages congratulating the new parents on DenDen.
