Beckham Likes Posh On Top!
David Beckham was pictured yesterday in Brazil wearing the t-shirt that has his naked wife on, as reported here 24 hours ago - Victoria Beckham is raising awareness for the Marc Jacobs skin cancer campaign. It's not a case of what you know but who you know, as David got his hands on the t-shirt before they hit the shops next week!
Meanwhile the "Return of the Spice Girls" is back in America for the next leg of their world tour, and according to The Sun newspaper - Cruz was looking very much like the all -American boy in his stars and stripes jacket.

Victoria Beckham: Naked Picture
Here is Victoria Beckham like you have never seen her before - NAKED! (OK, it's the first time in 2008, but a good excuse to show off Posh without any clothes on!!). Victoria is working with designer Marc Jacobs, campaigning about the dangers of skin cancer. The Posh t-shirts go on sale next week and the "Y" very cleverly hides anything that might be too risky for the public. Well, if David can do it so can Victoria ....... now THAT'S real "Girl Power"!

Amy Winehouse: The Transvestite Look
Amy Winehouse is starting to look more and more like a washed up transvestite with every new picture that makes it into the media. The new blond look does not do Amy any favours and I fear that in a few months time we'll be seeing her perform at Blackpool Pleasure Beach under the name of "Miss Rehab".
On a sad note, it has been confirmed that Lily Allen has suffered a miscarriage. Previously on this blog we reported Lily Allen was expecting her first child with Chemical Romance's Ed Simons.
Finally we get to finish on a good note - The Enemy will be performing dates in Germany at the end of the month after having to cancel the tour when Tom Clarke took ill. The new dates are:
27-Jan @ 591 - Munich
28-Jan @ Magnet - Berlin
30-Jan @ Gebaude 9 -Cologne
31-Jan @ Knust - Hamburg
01-Feb @ Kammgam - Kaiserslauten

Brit Award 2008: More S**t Than Brit!
The Brit Award nominations were revealed last night (full list HERE) and I've got to say the awards seem more "S**t" than "Brit". Partly due to the multiple nominations of the same artists, which then leads to the lack of variety.
I was expecting Coventry band, The Enemy to be in the "Breakthrough Act" after a year of constant touring, a number one album and four singles in the Top 40. Instead we are offered two artists, Leona Lewis and Mika that have 8 nominations between them, Kate Nash (3 nominations), the Klaxons (2 nominations) and finally Bat For Lashes (2 nominations). It would have been more interesting to have at least one artist in the nominations who wasn't listed in another category.
While I'm sure the Brit Awards 2008 will be fantastic, I can't help but feel it could have included nominations in a wider field. Back in June I predicted on "robmacca entertainment news" The Enemy would be in the nominations for "Breakthough Act", today I've been proved wrong - but I can't help bands like The Enemy (and many other artists) have been over looked in what seems to be a popularity contest. Meanwhile can Girls Aloud pick up their first Brit Award or will Take That beat them to it? - find out on February 20th!

Bjork Attacks New Zealand Photographer
Bjork was not happy after her long flight and attacked New Zealand photographer Glenn Jeffrey as she arrived in Auckland at 07:50am, ripping his shirt in half.
Apparently the Icelandic singer was not happy with the NZ Herald photographer taking pictures of her partner, he'd been asked not to take pictures.

The incident bears the hallmarks of another attack, in 1996, during which Bjork famously attacked a reporter after a long flight to Thailand.
She later apologised for that attack, which is now posted on the YouTube website.

The Enemy Updates
While The Enemy have been rocking Germany this week, I've been on the other side of the world in Australia getting withdrawal symptoms because I am unable to update my website TheEnemy.eu because I'm using Firefox not Internet Explorer.
I'm sure Tom, Andy and Liam are having a great time touring again. Meanwhile check out a great review from their recent gig at London's ULU, by Alex Fletcher, Entertainment Reporter at DigitalSpy. Hopefully next week we will find out if The Enemy are up for a Brit Award - watch this space!

David Beckham: Emporio Armani Pictures
Here are another two hot pictures of David Beckham in the latest Emporio Armani underwear adverts. Last time the press made a fuss about Beckhams bulge, this time they are moaning about the lack of bulge. The poor bloke can't win with the media.
Fixate your eyes where ever you like and judge for yourself, the original David Beckham Armani advert is printed at the bottom for you to compare sizes!
* All three pictures were published in The Metro so check out the newspaper and read what they had to say on the subject.

Atomic Kitten Return
Atomic Kitten are set for a return, after a three year gap. The girls had promised to return after scoring three #1's and ten Top 10 hits earlier this decade. Atomic Kitten's last release "Candle" was almost two years ago for charity.
This time, according to The Sun newspaper Atomic Kitten are releasing a cover of Cilla Black's 1964 hit "Anyone Who Had A Heart" on January 28th. The line up will be NATASHA HAMILTON, JENNY FROST and LIZ McCLARNON and may be back for good if the record is well received.
Might turn into another All Saints type of come back if you ask me!

Girls Aloud: 2008 Final Year?
Your days are numbered when your dad goes to the newspapers to say you are not going to split! This is what the father of Girls Aloud singer Kimberly Walsh has done after newspaper rumours seemed to be circulating that Girls Aloud were set to split this year.
It's got to be a nail in the coffin when he said: "The band might well have a break of a few weeks or something, but that wouldn't be until the end of the year."
Let's face it , if the band have the end of the year off when it is the busiest time in the music industry, then they might as well quit after the tour. I think someone in Girls Aloud will get pregnant (most likely - Sarah Harding or Cheryl Cole) and it looks like Nadine Coyle will want to get married during 2008, probably to anyone! At least some things won't change - Nicola Roberts will keep the same facial expressions during 2008 no matter what!

Best Selling Album / Best Selling Single 2007
1 Amy Winehouse Back To Black
2 Leona Lewis Spirit
3 Mika Life In Cartoon Motion
4 Take That Beautiful World
5 Westlife Back Home
6 Eagles Long Road Out Of Eden
7 Kaiser Chiefs Yours Truly Angry Mob
8 Arctic Monkeys Favourite Worst Nightmare
9 Timbaland Shock Value
10 Rihanna Good Girl Gone Bad
Girl power returned in 2007 - but not just the Spice Girls kind as the females dominated the top two positions in the Best Selling Albums of 2007, but boy bands were close behind as Take That (#4) rounded off another fantastic year and Westlife proved that after 9 years they can still sell massive amounts of albums. British bands like the Kaiser Chiefs (#7) and Arctic Monkeys (#8) kept music lovers happy with real music.
Other acts selling well during 2007 included the much anticipated second album by James Blunt, which after 15 weeks in the charts became the 13th best selling album of the year. New comer Mark Ronson spent 37 weeks inside the charts, earning him a 12th position in the chart. Reforming is nearly always a money spinner as Led Zeppelin found out with "Mothership", #17 after being released just 6 weeks before the end of the year.
Whitney Houston "The Ultimate Collection" (#21) might now have enough royalties to finally stay out of rehab for a while. Take That "Never Forget - The Ultimate Collection" (#35) was the longest running album in the end of year chart with 111 weeks, closely followed by the rehab queen Amy Winehouse "Frank" (#37) on 108 weeks.
Best Selling UK Singles 2007:
1 Leona Lewis Bleeding Love
2 Rihanna ft Jay-Z Umbrella
3 Mika Grace Kelly
4 Leon Jackson When You Believe
5 Take That Rule The World
6 Sugababes About You Now
7 Timbaland ft Keri Hilson The Way I Are
8 Proclaimers / B Potter / A Pipkin (I'm Gonna Be) 500 Miles
9 Mark Ronson ft Amy Winehouse Valerie
10 Kaiser Chiefs Ruby
Reality TV winner Leona Lewis proved wise to wait almost a year to release her follow up single "Bleeding Love" as it became the UK's #1 single for 2007, staying at #1 for most of it's 10 week history. Rihanna had to settle for second with her summer smash hit "Umbrella" - even if you hated it, you were singing it by the end of the wash out season! But it seems that collaborations were the order of the day as Mark Ronson/Amy Winehouse (#9), Proclaimers/B Potter/A Pipkin (#8), Timberland/ Keri Hilson (#7) all found out scoring massive hits during the year.
Leon Jackson, the X factor winner, had the Christmas #1 and proved once again the buying public still have a thirst for reality TV. His single "When You Believe" became the 4th best seller after just two weeks. Thankfully old favourites Take That and the Sugababes stopped the singles chart from slipping into a "reality collaboration" sham.
Surprisingly one of the most played songs of 2007, Kate Nash "Foundations" only made it to #17, even though it was one of those songs that remained in the charts for half of the year. Snow Patrol were the longest runners in the chart with "Chasing Cars" having spent a staggering 74 weeks in total to finish #34.
Newcomer Plain White T's can be proud of their hit "Hey There Delilah", it was the UK's 14th favourite single of 2007.
