Marc Almond performing in BirminghamMarc Almond has proved himself a solo performer with longevity, long after his days with Soft Cell. Marc has maintained a loyal following, as demonstrated on his latest UK tour. Birmingham Carling Academy was a sell out early on, but could easily have sold more if the larger venue had been used instead. This didn't stop Marc performing - even after a three hour motorway journey and a head full of flu.
