The Apprentice (BBC1) The Apprentice returns for a brand new series next Wednesday (25/03/09) but already one of the contestants has dropped out, leaving 15 other young hopefuls with the arduous task of pleasing multi-millionaire Sir Alan Sugar for the next twelve weeks.

The candidates were Nicholas, Shazia, Ian, Simon, Lindi, Kevin, Jenny, Jennifer, Sara, Raef, Michael, Lucinda, Alex and Helene. Claire Young was runner up and Lee McQueen got hired.
