Leona Lewis has become the first British female solo singer since Kim Wilde's 1987's "You Keep Me Hangin' On", to reach the #1 position in the American Billboard charts. Leona Lewis has climbed eight places to number one on the US singles chart with "Bleeding Love", knocking off Usher and Young Jeezy's "Love In This Club".
"Bleeding Love" has already reached number one in more than 25 countries worldwide, including Australia, France, Germany, Ireland and the UK.
