Mel B - For Once In My Life (Video and Lyrics)

VIDEO: Mel B - For Once In My Life

 Lyrics:

I've been gone in the dark and the shadows
Been afraid to throw my heart in the battle
Yesterday felt the weight of the shackles

Not anymore… not anymore

Turn the lights, turn the lights, turn the lights on
Wanna rise feel the rush, wanna free fall
Through the night cause tonight
I'm unstoppable
Unstoppable

I wanna feel.....
I wanna feel.....

For once in my life, I'm gonna let go
For once in my life, I'm gonna do it for me
This is the time I've been waiting for
Stripping it all away I'm runnin’ free
For once in my life
For once in my life

Here I am, think you know what I came for
Make it loud, cause the world is my dance floor
Standing strong and it feels so incredible
Gimme some more, gimme some more

Turn the lights, turn the lights, turn the lights on
Wanna rise feel the rush, wanna free fall
Through the night cause tonight
I want it all
I want it all

I wanna feel.....
I wanna feel.....

For once in my life, I'm gonna let go
For once in my life, I'm gonna do it for me
This is the time I've been waiting for
Stripping it all away, I'm runnin’ free

For once in my life
For once in my life
(it’s now or never)

For once in my life
For once in my life
(it’s now or never)

Oh ohh ohhh ohhh ohhhh
Oh ohh ohhh ohhh ohhhh

I wanna feel….

For once in my life, I'm gonna let go
For once in my life, I'm gonna do it for me
This is the time I've been waiting for
Stripping it all away, I'm runnin’ free

For once in my life, I'm gonna let go
For once in my life, I'm gonna do it for me
This is the time I've been waiting for
Stripping it all away I'm runnin’ free

For once in my life
For once in my life
(it’s now or never)

For once in my life
For once in my life
(it’s now or never)

VIDEO: Love Is A Bourgeois Construct (album version) Pet Shop Boys 'v' robmacca

I've been taking my time for a long time
Putting my feet up a lot
Speaking English as a foreign language
any words that I haven't forgot
I've been thinking how I can't be bothered
to wash the dishes or remake the bed
What's the point when I could doss instead?

I've been hanging out with various riff-raff
somewhere on the Goldhawk Road
I don't think it's gonna be much longer
'til I'm mugging up on the penal code
Love is a bourgeois construct
so I've given up on the bourgeoisie
Like all their aspirations, it's a fantasy

When you walked out you did me a favour
you made me see reality
that love is a bourgeois construct
It's a blatant fallacy
You won't see me with a bunch of roses
promising fidelity
Love doesn't mean a thing to me

Talking tough and feeling bitter
but better now it's clear to me
that love is a bourgeois construct
so I've given up the bourgeoisie

While the bankers all get their bonuses
I'll just get along with what I've got
Watching the weeds in the garden
Putting my feet up a lot
I'll explore the outer limits of boredom
moaning periodically
Just a full-time, lonely layabout
that's me

When you walked out you did me a favour
It's absolutely clear to me
that love is a bourgeois construct
just like they said at university
I'll be taking my time for a long time
with all the schadenfreude it's cost
calculating what you've lost

Now I'm digging through my student paperbacks
Flicking through Karl Marx again
Searching for the soul of England
Drinking tea like Tony Benn
Love is just a bourgeois construct
so I'm giving up the bourgeoisie
until you come back to me

Talking tough and feeling bitter
but better now it's clear to me
that love is a bourgeois construct
so I've given up the bourgeoisie

Rock Me baby, Rock Me baby, Rock Me baby

Chorus:
Rock Me baby, Rock me better into the beat
You make me wanna throw my hands into the air, air, air
Rock Me baby, Rock me take me over
Come on let’s go everybody throw your hands in the air, air, air

Waiting, for you
will you do, what I want you?
Beautiful fever, taking me, deeper
I lose myself, in myself
I’ll meet you there, in another world
Hear the crowd, feel the drums
Here we go, come on, come on

Chorus:
Stronger, deeper, music, set me free
Beating, faster, music, remedy

Snapshots
Speed of sound,in my head
Spinning round, levitate of the ground
Gettin’ up, gettin’ down
Let me see you jump now

Chorus:
Stronger, deeper, music, set me free
Beating, faster, music, remedy

Rock Me baby, Rock Me e baby, Rock Me (in the air)
Rock Me baby, Rock Me e baby, Rock Me (get up)
Rock Meeeeeeeee, Rock Meeeeeeeee
Rock Meeeeeeeee, Rock Meeeeeeeee

Chorus:
Stronger, deeper, music, set me free
Beating, faster, music, remedy

Rock me baby

Goldfrapp 'Rocket' from the official website: http://www.goldfrapp.com/

Starting something, thought it could be fun
I started something, couldn't go wrong

Danger, heartache, I'd always knew
There's no winner, in this game you lose

But I still wanna know how she got in the door uninvited

Oo-ooh I got a rocket
Oo-ooh you're going on it
Oo-ooh you're never coming back

This is secrets, stories unfold
Flow by pleasure, losing control

Danger, heartache, something has died
No good pretending, I'm leaving this time

But I still wanna know how she got in the door uninvited

Oo-ooh I got a rocket
Oo-ooh you're going on it
Oo-ooh you're never coming back

Oo-ooh I got a rocket
Oo-ooh you're going on it
Oo-ooh you're never coming back

You're never coming back
You're never coming back again no no
You're going out on your own

You're never coming back
You're never coming back again oh no
You're going out on your own

Oo-ooh I got a rocket
Oo-ooh you're going on it
Oo-ooh you're never coming back

Oo-ooh I got a rocket
Oo-ooh you're going on it
Oo-ooh you're never coming back
(you're never coming back)

5-4-3-2-1
We have lift off

VIDEO: Scouting For Girls - This Aint A Love Song (with Lyrics)

Scouting For Girls are back as the new video, 'This Ain't A Love Song' demonstrates. The lads have lost none of their original sound and you'll be singing along to this tune in no time at all. The lyrics are included below just to get you started. The single is out now, visit http://www.scoutingforgirls.com/ for more the latest updates.

Every night I remember that event
The way you looked when you said you were leaving
The way you cried as you turned to walk away
The cruel words and the false accusations
The mean looks and the same old frustrations
I never thought that we'd throw it all away
But we threw it all away.

And I'm a little bit lost without you
And I'm a bloody big mess inside
And I'm a little bit lost without you
This aint a love song this is goodbye (oooooh)
This aint a love song this is goodbye (ooooh)

I've been lost, I've been losing
I've been tired, I'm all hurt and confusion
I've been mad, I'm the kind of man that I'm not
I'm going down, I'll be coming back fighting
I may be scared and a little bit frightened
But I'll be back, I'll be coming back to life
I'll be coming back to life

And I'm a little bit lost without you
And I'm a bloody big mess inside
And I'm a little bit lost without you
This aint a love song this is goodbye (oooooh)
This aint a love song this is goodbye (ooooh)

Whoooo
And you can try (you can try)
And you can try but you'll never keep me down
And you can try (you can try)
And you can try but you'll never keep me down

La la la la la la la
(I wont be lost, i wont be down)

And I'm a little bit lost without you
And I'm a bloody big mess inside
This ain't a love song this is goodbye

It's alright (It's alright) cause you can try but you'll never keep me down
It's alright (It's alright) I may be lost but you'll never keep me down
You can try (you can try) you can try but you'll never keep me down
You cant try (you can try) I know I'm lost but I'm waiting to be found
You'll never keep me down
You'll never keep me down
Never keep me down

VIDEO: Shakira - Gypsy

Here is the latest video from Shakira called 'Gypsy', featuring tennis champion Rafael Nadal. The full lyrics for Gypsy are below so you can sing along with Shakira!

[Verse 1]
Broke my heart
On the road
Spent the weekend
Sewing the pieces back on

Crayons and dolls
passed me by
Walking gets too boring
When you learn how to fly

Not the homecoming kind
Take the top off
And who knows what
you might find

Won't confess all my sins
You can bet I'll try it
But you can't always win

[Chorus]
'Cause I'm a gypsy
But are you coming with me?
I might steal your clothes
And wear them if they fit me
I never made agreements
Just like a gypsy
And I won't back down
'Cause life's already hurt me
And I won't cry
I'm too young to die
If you're gonna quit me
'Cause I'm a gypsy

('Cause I'm a gypsy)

[Verse 2]
I can't hide
what I've done
Scars remind me
Of just how far that I've come
To whom it may concern
Only run with scissors
When you want to get hurt

[Chorus]

I said hey you
you're no fool
If you say 'NO'
ain't it just the
way life goes?
People fear what
they don't know
Come along for the
ride (Oh yeah)
Come along for the
ride (ooohhh)

The Enemy: "We'll Live Ane Die In These Towns" Video and Lyrics

Below is The Enemy video and lyrics for "We'll Live And Die In These Towns". The single is out on release Monday 3rd December 2007.

The Enemy - We'll Live And Die In These Towns

You spend your time in smokey rooms
where haggled old women with cheap perfume say
"it never happens for people like us you know"
well nothing ever happened on it`s own
and well the toilets smell of desperation
the streets all echo of aggregation
and you wonder
why you cant get no sleep
when you`ve got nothing to do,
and you`ve had nothing to eat
your life`s slipping
and sliding right out of view
and there`s absolutely nothing
that you can do, well

We`ll live and die,
We`ll live and die in these towns
Don`t let it drag you down
Don`t let it drag you down now

We`ll live and die,
We`ll live and die in these towns
Don`t let it drag you down
Don`t let it drag you down now

Dirty dishes from a tv meal
that went cold from the wind
throuh a smashed up window
You cant go out if anybody calls ya
cos you cant have a bath
when there`s no hot water
and your friends are out
on the town again
and you ask yourself if it will ever end
and it`s all too much for your head to take
just a matter of time before you break, well

We`ll live and die,
We`ll live and die in these towns
Don`t let it drag you down
Don`t let it drag you down now

We`ll live and die,
We`ll live and die in these towns
Don`t let it drag you down
Don`t let it drag you down now

Now...
Now...

We`ll live and die,
We`ll live and die in these towns
Don`t let it drag you down
Don`t let it drag you down now

We`ll live and die,
We`ll live and die in these towns
Don`t let it drag you down
Don`t let it drag you down now

The Wombats - Let's Dance To Joy Division ( Video and Lyrics )

The Wombats new single "Let's Dance To Joy Division" is out Monday 15th October and is set to be their biggest chart song yet, after the download release propelled The Wombats into the UK Top 40 this week. Now you can sing along to the video below. The Wombats are busy touring the UK as part of the NME Rock 'n' Roll Tour and will be in Birmingham on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st October with The Enemy and Lethal Bizzle.

I'm back in Liverpool,
And everything seems the same,
But I worked something out last night,
That changed this little boys brain,
A small piece of advice,
That took twenty-two years in the make,
And I will break it for you now,
Please learn from my mistakes,
Please learn from my mistakes.

Let's dance to joy division,
And celebrate the irony,
Everything is going wrong,
But we're so happy,
Let's dance to joy division,
And raise our glass to the ceiling,
'Cos this could all go so wrong,
But we're just so happy,
Yeah we're so happy.

So if you every feeling down,
Grab your purse and take a taxi,
To the darker side of town,
That's where we'll be,
And we will wait for you and lead you through the dancefloor,
Up to the D.J booth,
You know what to ask for,
You know what to ask for.

Go ask for Joy Division,
And celebrate the irony,
Everything is going wrong,
But we're so happy,
Go ask to joy division,
And raise our glass to the ceiling,
'Cos this could all go so wrong,
But we're just so happy,
So happy.

So let the love tear us apart,
I've found the cure for a broken heart,
Let it tear us apart,
So let the love tear us apart,
I've found the cure for a broken heart,
Let it tear us apart,
(Let it tear us apart)
So let the love tear us apart,
I've found the cure for a broken heart,
Let it tear us apart,
(Let it tear us apart)
So let the love tear us apart,
I've found the cure for a broken heart,
Let it tear us apart,
Let it tear us apart,
Let it tear us apart.

Let's dance to joy division,
And celebrate the irony,
Everything is going wrong,
But were so happy,
Let's dance to joy division,
And raise our glass to the ceiling,
'Cos this could all go so wrong,
But we're just so happy,
Yeah we're so happy,
So happy,
Yeah we're so happy,
So happy,
Yeah we're so happy.

The Enemy: "You're Not Alone" - video and lyrics

Here is the video and lyrics for The Enemy "You're Not Alone" featuring Tom Clarke, Andy Hopkins and Liam Watts from Coventry. The single is released in the UK on September 17th and is the third single from the #1 debut album "We'll Live And Die In These Towns".

Don't let the sun go down
on our empire
it's too much to waste
and don't let the walls
come down round our empire
it's too much to wave goodbye
we've been working for a long time
we've been fighting for a way
now in the streets men stand in lines
they're all wasted anyway
you live in an incestuous world
where your conscience holds no weight
you sold us down the river like rats
then you drowned and beat the brave

you're not alone, you know
you're not alone, you know
you're not alone at all
you're not alone, you know
you're not alone, you know
you're not alone at all

don't let the sun go down
on our empire
it's too much to waste
don't let the rains come down,
on our empire
it's too much to wash away
we've been working for a long time
we've been fighting for a way
now in the streets men stand in lines
they're all wasted anyway
you live in an incestuous world
where your conscience holds no weight
you sold us down the river like rats
then you drowned and beat the brave

you're not alone, you know
you're not alone, you know
you're not alone at all
you're not alone, you know
you're not alone, you know
you're not alone at all

yeah...

not alone not alone

there's just too many dreams
in this wasteland
for you to leave us all behind

there's just too many dreams in this wasteland
for you to leave us all behind you're not alone,
you know you're not alone,
you know you're not alone at all
you're not alone,
you know you're not alone,
you know you're not alone at all

Melanie C - "I Want Candy" Lyrics

This Week's sing along song is Melanie C's "I Want Candy" - how could it not be the song of the week? So, get your hair brush out and if you've got a black cat suit, slip into that as well cos it's time to get sexed up with Miss C..................

I know a girl who's tough but sweet
She's so fine, she can't be beat
Got everything that I desire
Sets the summer sun on fire

I want candy
I want candy

Odyssey, with her hair hung down
Ain't no finer girl in town
Candy's just what the doctor ordered
She's so sweet, she makes my mouth water

I want candy
I want candy

(Woo, huh, I want candy, oh, uh, hey)
(I want candy, candy, I want candy, *laugh*)

Hey!
(With her hair hung down)
Hey!
Hey!

Candy on the beach, there's nothing better
But I like candy in slacks and a sweater
Some day soon I'll make you mine
And I'll have candy all the time

I want candy
I want candy
I want candy
I want candy

(Yeah, hey, hey)

Hey! (repeat until fade)

(Hey, Hey, I want candy, uh huh, oh oh, yeah-ah-ah, uh huh,
oh oh, I want candy, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I want candy,
I want candy)
