The Enemy - New Album and New Tour Announced

*pic: Guy Eppel
Coventry band The Enemy have announced details of a new UK tour and the release of their second album. Tom Clarke, Andy Hopkins and Liam Watts will be hitting the road in March and April 2009 for the 22 date tour.

Although the second album title has yet to be revealed, The Enemy confirmed that the tour will feature new songs from the album. The hotly anticipated follow up album to 'We'll Live And Die In These Towns' will be released to coincide with the tour.

The Enemy bassist, Andy Hopkins revealed that the band had over 30 songs to choose from for the new album and continued to write even more. Fans have already heard 'Sing When You're In Love (Sing When You're Out Of Love)' at various live performances and Andy gave further revelations for the new album when he said, "We've got another song we're hoping to put on the album called Don't Break The Red Tape which we played at Reading and wanted to play at Leeds but we ran out of time. That one is a more or less definite to get on the album."

Tom Clarke spoke about the upcoming album saying, "We’re preparing to record our second album in October/November and coz I already have both the album title and 99% of the tunes down I’m going through loads of artwork ideas."

The tour is taking The Enemy back to their core roots in smaller venues, which allow them to get closer to the fans. Some have questioned why The Enemy will not be playing their home city, Coventry this time. Tom answered that question by telling fans, "Its just because in Cov we have two venue sizes 1000 and 8000. 1000 is too small and denies most people the chance to see us and 8000 is just too big for what we wanna do on this tour. Loved playing the Ricoh (stadium) those nights In fact was the best couple of nights of my life but I want to go back to venues of 2 to 3 thousand on this tour. So back to Brum (Birmingham) for a couple of nights."

Victoria Beckham: New Hair Cut Picture

Victoria Becham with new hair style

Victoria Beckham has managed to pull off another stunning new hairstyle, as these pictures show. Posh stole the limelight at this weeks New York Fashion Show by revealing her latest new look at friend Marc Jacobs' catwalk show.

Some in the press have likened the look to Halle Berry but I'm sure Victoria Beckham won't mind what the press say. Her new fashion range went down a treat at the New York Fashion Show, hardly a critic in the house saying a bad word. The new range looks set for commercial success as buyers have already begun competing over the rights to sell the dresses. Victoria Beckham said it was a "dream of a lifetime" becoming a fashion designer.

Big Brother 9: Kat and Mo In Double Eviction Shocker

Big Brother housemates faced their biggest shock of the series as two housemates were booted out in a Double Eviction shocker. As the remaining seven housemates had been enjoying an evening of impersonating one another, Davina McCall announced to a surprised house that first Mohamed was to be evicted and then shortly after Kathreya was to join him. Mo had received just 1.8% and Kat 4.9% of the public voted by Tuesday evening so would not make it to the BB9 final on Friday.

Gasps and tears quickly followed as the two housemates were ripped away from the Big Brother house and thrust out into the waiting world. Both met loud boos from the crowds yet Mo and Kat remained resilient and enjoyed their time with Davina McCall as she relived their time in the Big Brother house.
